As I sit here at my computer contemplating the 30+ years I have spent successfully investing in Real Estate, I am amused that it took a regular guy like Larry Harbolt and not some hyped up “guru”, to make my mind spin with new ideas. Ideas that I always had but had never understood.
Larry was the main event’ at a March 2007 boot-camp I attended in Tampa, Fl., sponsored by Foreclosuresdaily.com. Larry thinks outside the box, ANY box! I was seriously surprised when Larry Harbolt began his presentation. Well, he actually speaks TO you, NOT through you. Larry is not a hard sell agent. He truly desires to give you the knowledge AND the directions, the path, to turn his thoughts into money. Straight forward is how I would describe Larry’s teaching methods. If you are unsure of something he has said, ASK HIM, he is there in heart, mind and spirit, to help you understand his concept and will take whatever time necessary to help you get it. Meld his ideas with your own to become a power to be reckoned with, if you dare. That’s Larry Harbolt in a nutshell.
I have purchased, conservatively, well over $50,000 worth of home study “boot-camps”. Add to that another $60,000 [12 live events @ $5k average some more, some less] and you get quite an education. I never thought, nor do I now think, that I am ‘full’. I know, as does any serious investor, that you must continue to seek knowledge or you are destined for failure or at the least, mediocre success. So, I continue to seek out those who can make me think.
I have the privilege of talking to Larry from time to time to discuss how to do a deal or how I just closed a deal that is directly related to his teachings. I am much more aware of so many scenarios to do a single deal than I was before meeting Larry because he makes me think it through. Plan your in and out and you can’t help but get better. That is Larry’s basic message as I see it.
My advice to anyone really wanting to gain the ability to make a deal work is to attend a Larry Harbolt training event. Take with you an empty brain for he will surely fill it to the brim.
His motto should be: Think it through, look to the end result and you will Prosper!
